CHALLENGE FROM
THE DARKNESS — 1999
In 1999, Japan's Gym Leaders returned with a darker challenge. Challenge from the Darkness brought the formidable Pokémon of Kanto's most mysterious Trainers into the spotlight, introducing powerful holographics that would later become coveted treasures of the English Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge expansions.

Within the Vault survive three holographic relics from this sinister Japanese release: Sabrina's Gengar, Blaine's Moltres, and Koga's Nidoking. Three formidable Pokémon, each bearing the unmistakable identity of its Gym Leader.

Some challenges were never meant to be conquered.
What are they worth... to you?
